A2Z compares secure compounds with CCTV and patrols for multi-day trips, with clear instructions for drop-off and collection.

At the foot of the White Cliffs with A20 and M20 access, Dover suits cross-channel drivers and cruise passengers from Kent and London. Peak ferry times can congest town roads — plan your arrival using your operator's postcode.

Free cancellation for 24 hours after you book, and prices come direct from approved operators. Checkout charges known to us are shown before payment. Compare from the card on this page when you are ready — there is nothing to pay until you choose an operator.

Why pre-book Dover airport parking

Driving to DOV without a reservation often means paying premium on-the-day rates — especially during school holidays, bank holidays and early-morning peaks when compounds fill quickly.

Pre-booking through A2Z locks in a confirmed space with a verified operator, shows your total price upfront and lets you choose between Meet & Greet convenience and Park & Ride value before you pack.

Most travellers save compared with turning up at the gate, and you receive instant email confirmation with directions, contact numbers and what to do on arrival.

Meet & Greet at Dover

Meet & Greet at DOV means driving to the terminal approach, handing keys to a uniformed driver and walking straight to check-in while your car is parked in a secure compound.

It suits families, business travellers with tight schedules and anyone with heavy luggage — particularly when you want the shortest walk to departures.

Confirm your meeting point and terminal in the booking confirmation, and allow a few extra minutes during peak security queues.

Park & Ride near Dover

Park & Ride compounds near Dover typically offer the lowest daily rates: you park in a CCTV-monitored site and take a shuttle to the terminal.

Check shuttle frequency and first/last bus times against your flight — early departures may need a compound with 24-hour transfers.

Keep your booking reference and operator phone number handy in case your return flight is delayed.

Travel tips for Dover and Kent

Allow buffer time for motorway delays on travel day — Kent routes can be busy at commuter peaks.

Screenshot your confirmation and note the car park postcode in your maps app before you set off.

On return, call ahead if your flight is diverted or significantly delayed so the operator can adjust collection arrangements where possible.

Your journey at Dover

Practical guidance for drop-off and collection. Exact meeting points are always on your operator voucher.

Where to meet

Your confirmation voucher shows the exact operator Meet & Greet point or Park & Ride reception for Dover. Arrive at the booked time and follow the operator’s signs — not the public short-stay car parks unless told otherwise. A2Z is the booking agent; the operator handles the day-of service.

Terminal map

Check which terminal your airline uses before you leave home. Operator Meet & Greet and shuttle routes differ by terminal at larger airports — using the wrong terminal delays handover.

Directions

Follow airport “Departures” then operator instructions on your voucher. Keep the operator phone number handy for the last 15–20 minutes of your drive.

Traffic tips

Build in extra time at peak holiday weekends and early mornings. Roadworks and airport drop-off congestion are the most common causes of late arrival.

Arrival instructions

On landing, collect bags then call the number on your voucher. For Meet & Greet, wait at the agreed collection point; for Park & Ride, use the shuttle back to the compound.
